My Review:
I was instantly attracted to this story because of the intriguing time period and location. I enjoyed the story from the start, especially the protagonist and her struggle with duty and societal demands.
There were a few parts where I felt the story slowed a bit, but otherwise, I kept turning each page and looking forward to more. The hero is a dynamic character presented with unique obstacles and weaknesses he must overcome.
If you are a fan of historical romances, you’ll enjoy Whitson’s “A Most Unsuitable Match.” Check it out!
