Here we go – another year of National Novel Writing Month!
The goal is simple (and perhaps a bit lofty) – 50,000 words in 30 days (usually 29 days if you take Turkey day off…) Anyway. You get my point. Write, write, write. Put words to paper. Unleash the creativity. Rein in all the discipline and dedication you can muster.
For me, I’ve really enjoyed the past two years of NaNo-ing and each year has resulted in a better and better novel. This year I’m retackling an old idea with a new twist and I’m looking forward to it!
To other writers participating, best of luck! Let me know how things are going for you and what tricks or tips have worked well for you.
What have I learned from two years of it?
Don’t think. Just write.
Good luck and have fun, Nicole!
