Yes, it’s tacky to start something on January 1st, just because it is the beginning of a new year. Every new day is an opportunity and every new day is just as good of an excuse.
Alas, this worked out best for my personal calendar and vacation schedules. So call me tacky. 🙂

This blog will be something different and new. This blog is me, unscripted and unfiltered. (Just kidding, there will be filters, I promise.)
But let’s all confess: we’re never what we say we are. We’re never really what we portray online. We’re never what we really see ourselves as. We’re all wading through the questions of who we are and what we want to do with our lives. So this is a place to talk that out, share in my journey and just b.s. whenever you need to.
If you’re like the rest of humanity and mapping out your goals for 2013, take a moment and just think about being honest, being real, being genuine with those around you. I know that’s at the top of my list for you, my loyal blog readers.
So hold on. This might be a bumpy ride.
