My review:
To be honest, I started reading this book a long, long time ago. Like six months ago. Right away, I was blown away by the truths that hit him: what was I idolizing in place of God? Sometimes it is appearances, money, accomplishments…
This book hit home. But I ended up misplacing the book (AKA my Kindle) and didn’t end up picking up the reader machine for another few months.
The second time I picked up “Empty Promises” was after Christmas. This was the time I truly needed this book. Wilson changed my perspective on prayer and communicating with God {Why do we have to close our eyes and bow our heads? Now, I pray all. day. long. It’s just a constant conversation: me & God.}
If you need a readjustment of your worldly and Godly perspective, check out Empty Promises. Take the time to digest the book and examine your heart. You won’t regret it.
Disclosure: I received a copy of this e-book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
Sounds like it’s worth reading. I love that fact that we get to have an ongoing moment by moment dialogue with God all day everyday.
